Location
On the anterior median line of the chest, at the level of the 4th intercostal space, at the midpoint between the two nipples.
Indications
Chronic diseases of the respiratory system associated with general fatigue. Insufficient lactation. Mastitis. Functional cardiac problems. Chest tightness. Asthma.
Adverse Events
Intracardiac puncture, Pneumothorax. (persistence foramen sternal).
